Develop an institutional campaign to Keighley Cougars about the Pride movement to celebrate the Pride Month in June and promote respect.
About the Pride movement at Keighley Cougars
Pride is a word that is very present in the daily life of Keighley Cougars. Since 2019, the club made history being the first Rugby League team to hold an event in celebration of LGBTQIAP+ Pride called “Pride Game”, which takes place at Cougar Park on the last weekend of June or the first weekend of July to celebrate the Pride movement and the Pride Month. In 2022, the Keighley Cougars celebrated the Pride Game on the 3rd of July, and players wore the Pride Kit of that year.
Pride, Respect and Diversity have been the 3 pillars of the Cougars since 2021, when the owners decided to make history being the first sports team to put the Progress Pride Flag on the game kit. For the Pride Campaign 2022, we set the theme “It’s All About Respect”, which means that the whole year we must have pride in respect the diversity, not only in the Pride Month. We develop materials for Website, E-commerce, Social Media, and Pride Kit (Shirt, Shorts and Socks).
